Creating an Organization

After successfully logging in to Edredo, you will see the following screen:

From here, you will have 2 options to create a new organization. They are as follows:

1. Click on the dropdown icon next to Edredo's logo. This will open the dropdown. From here click "Create an Organization" option, which will take you to the organization creation page.

2. You can also create a new organization by clicking on the “+” icon in the “Organizations” block. The organizations that the user is a part of are also shown in this block.

Here, you will need to add a domain name which will house your organization. Once you add the domain name, Edredo will check the availability of domain and if it is available, you will be shown a green check mark next to the domain.

Once you have added a valid domain, click on "Start Teaching" button. This will take you to the next steps, where you will be asked to enter the desired name for your organization as well as what your organization is about.

Once you have added both the details, press "Continue". This will start the set up process for your organization.

This process will take a few seconds. After this is complete, you will be taken to another page, where you will be asked to claim your organization for free as well as shown a preview of what your organization will look like.

Click on "Claim Organization for free". This will take you to the home page of the newly set up organization. The URL for this organization will be the same as you chose at the beginning and all the dummy content will be somewhat related to the description you provided for the organization.

You will be able to modify all of this to some level inside your organization settings.

This completes the organization creation part.
