Add Questions

Once you have created the quiz, Edredo will take you to the screen where you can start adding questions.

Here, you will see that you have 2 options to add Questions:

(i) Add new Question

(ii) Add question from library

(i) Add new Question

Using this option, you can add new questions to your quiz. Once you click on this button, a dropdown will open. This dropdown will show you all the options for the type of questions you can create.

Pick any question type from here and click on it. This will take you to next page where you will have to add your question.
For the sake of example here, let's select the "Multiple Choice Question" option.

Here, you will have to provide the following details about your Questions:

Title: This will serve as brief identifier for your question. As the question can be really long and detailed, title can be written in a very brief manner with just enough detail to identify the question.

Question: Here, you will add the actual question.

Add Option Here: Here you will need to add the actual option for the MCQ. You will have 2 input fields by default. If you have to add more than 2 options, you will need to click the button below the inputs.

Explanation: Here, you can add some explanation for the answer of your question. This will help students/learners later on in getting help and improving.

Maximum Score: Maximum marks availablle for the question are added here.

Penalty Score: Negative marks are added here. You don't need to add a (-) sign in front of the number. In case of no negative marking, just add 0.

Topic: Here, you will need to add the topic with which your question is related.

Score Settings: Here, you have the option to enable Partial Marking. This marking is only supported with four options with 4 as max score and 1 as penalty. Correct attempt awards 4 marks and incorrect deducts 1 mark.

After adding all the details, click on Save & Continue. This will add the question to your quiz.
