Quiz Advanced Settings

1. Access Advanced Settings:

   • Click on the three-dot icon next to the quiz title.
   • Select "Manage Question" from the options.
   
   

2. Navigate to Advanced Settings:

   • On the manage question screen, click the "Advanced Settings" button at the bottom.
   
   

3. Add Quiz Topic:

   • Add the topic related to the branch of study for your quiz.
   
   

4. Set Difficulty Level:

   • Choose the difficulty level from the three available options.
   
   

5. Add Support Email:

   • Enter a support email for students to reach out in case of issues. By default, it shows the email ID used to register on Edredo, but you can change it.
   
   

6. Set Availability Settings:

   • The classroom where the quiz was originally published will be shown.
   • Add additional classrooms if needed.
   • Set the number of attempts a student can have: options include one, two, three, four, or unlimited attempts (choose unlimited if desired).
   • Configure quiz availability:
     • Always available: The quiz is always accessible to students.
     • Specific time window: Set a start and end date for quiz availability.
     
     

7. Configure Security Settings:

   • Disallow Resuming:
     • Prevents students from resuming the quiz once they have left it.
   • Full Screen:
     • Easy: Notifies the user of screen switches or minimizations.
     • Medium: Imposes time penalties for screen switches (e.g., 30 seconds for the first switch, one minute for the second).
     • Strict: Notifies the user twice; on the third screen switch, the quiz is submitted.
     • Select the "Strict" option.
   • Randomize Questions:
     • Randomize the order of questions and options for multiple-choice questions to prevent cheating.
   • Sequential Quiz:
     • Once a question is skipped or answered, the student cannot go back to it.
   • Show Report:
     • Generates a report for the student after they have attempted all questions.
     
     

8. Save and Continue:

   • Click "Save and Continue" to apply the settings.
